The story of Tees, Scraps, and Things started right at home. Founded by Dallas native and San Antonio resident Tori Washington, the business wasn’t born in a corporate boardroom, but rather from a passion for creating beautiful spaces.

For years, Tori’s friend Gloria admired the stunning, handcrafted wreaths on Tori’s front door and the beautifully styled tables inside her home. When Gloria finally asked who the designer was, she was shocked to hear the answer: "Me!" Gloria insisted that Tori share her talent with the world, but Tori laughed it off—she simply didn't have the time.

Persuasion won, and Tori crafted some custom pieces for a few people. From that very first creation, word of mouth quickly spread. One successful vendor event later, a true passion project officially transformed into a business.

Today, Tori uses her creativity to set the tone for homes across San Antonio and beyond.
